The 4th annual Aboriginal Peoples Choice Music Awards were handed out Friday night at MTS Centre.

A number of Winnipeggers took home hardware, including homegrown gal Sierra Noble (right) for Best Country CD “Possibilities.”

Other local winners included:

– Eagle & Hawk (Best Group or Duo)
– Brown Eagle – In the Spirit of Brown Eagle (Best Pow Wow CD)
– Eagle & Hawk – Sirensong (Best Rock CD)
– Tracy Bone – No Lies (Aboriginal Songwriter of the Year)
