Tribute Show Honours Late Canadian Wrestler

A tribute show for late Canadian wrestler Kerry Brown is set to take place Tuesday night at the Marlborough Hotel.
The “Kerry Brown Tribute Show” will feature a stellar card with dozens of wrestlers entering the over-the-top battle royal to compete for the glory of being the last man standing.
Brown passed away on September 10 this year at his home in Winnipeg of apparent liver failure.
The all-ages fundraising event is expected to draw hundreds as tickets quickly begin to sell out.
Tickets are priced at $15.00, with group and corporate rates available by request. They are available from Tony Condello at 229-9173, or can be arranged via email at

Who says the event is selling out? I heard the exact opposite from someone who works for a radio station sponsoring the event: that the show is drawing flies, they’re having trouble giving away the comp’d tickets, and the station is now distancing themselves from this show because some question the money raised is going to the intended recipients.

I heard on CITI FM that it was almost sold out.

I want to tell you that the show was sold out and the money did go where Tony said it would go, and I know this to be fact as I am Kerry’s Mom. Thank You
