Police Arrest Teen with Pellet Gun at Winnipeg Mall

Winnipeg police surrounded the Sears store at Polo Park Shopping Centre at around 4:30 p.m. Saturday afternoon after reports of an individual with a gun.
Officers later apprehended a 15-year-old male in the food court in possession of a pellet gun.
He is facing numerous charges and has been released on a promise to appear in court.
Sears remained open during the ordeal as shoppers kept coming and going from the store.

A youth with a weapon at Polo Park.. what an ordeal for the innocent people! Because this never happens.
Back in the spring of 2006, I saw a guy get smashed in the face with a skateboard outside the Sears. Seems he jawing with some boarding punks who nearly ran his wife down. There was an amazing amount of blood and shattered teeth on the ground. On the way back to my car, I saw some young teenagers huffing in the stairwell… Well dressed kids, didn’t look the part… but there they were.
Guess bad things happen anywhere.
