its pretty common to sell torches. My wife worked in Salt Lake for the Olympics, she sold a torch on ebay.

I always thought there was only ONE torch and people got to carry THE torch.
Once again, the Olympics proves itself to be nothing more than **insert very libelous comments here, sure to get this place shut down** …philes disguised as respectable gentleman.
The debt and social consequences for Brazil will be devastating for generations to come.

For $1400, I would sell it too, considering most people had theirs paid for by sponsors.

Sponsors did not pay for Torch, it cost $349.99 Plus TAX. We were directed to a the “OFFICIAL Torchbearer website” to buy torhbearer water bottles, pins, clothing. We only got the uniform as a gift.
