Step Inside the Holiday Blizzard Cash Cube
![]()

Everybody loves free prizes. That’s why Portage Place Shopping Centre has teamed up with ChrisD.ca to give you, the readers, a chance to step inside the mall’s Holiday Blizzard Cash Cube.
The cash cube — which will be on the second floor of Kennedy Court by the fountain — will be filled with gift cards, free gifts, and special offers from Portage Place tenants. Whatever someone grabs while in the machine is theirs to keep and redeem.
We’ll be giving away five (5) snowflake tokens, which you can redeem at Customer Service on the second floor any Saturday (between 12 p.m. and 4 p.m.) beginning November 21 until December 19 for a turn in the cube.
Every Saturday, there will also be one grand ‘Silver Ticket’ prize ranging from a set of watches to a free year’s worth of parking in the underground Portage Place Parkade.
Normally shoppers would have to spend $40 in the mall beginning November 9 to receive a token, but you have the chance to score yours free.
How do I enter?
Simply leave a comment on this post. We’ll select five random entries. One entry per person please.
Each Friday a draw will be made until the last token is spoken for.
Good luck!

For once a mall comes up with a good contest! At city place, they give away coffee mugs if you spend $80. Oh wait. One time they gave away lunch bags for spending 50 bucks. Honestly!
Great idea, Portage Place. It’s good to see something innovative happening downtown.
