		<description>I think the headline of this story (which I saw on CNN or something not too long ago) is misleading and designed to create shock-value/resentment for an otherwise good initiative.

Student&#039;s with a BMI over 30 merely have to TAKE this course. They don&#039;t have to lose weight or reduce their waistline or anything like that. 

I can see where there would be some controversy as you are essentially discriminating against bigger students, but it&#039;s simply a matter of health and I think THAT&#039;S what people need to understand. I&#039;m not terribly overweight, but I am trying to shed a few pounds and eat better to try and stave off sleep apnea and other weight related health hazards, a person&#039;s weight should be considered seriously from a health-minded perspective and not just aesthetics.</description>
