42 recruits with the Winnipeg Police Service will graduate today as part of Recruit Class #148.

This year, the class consists of 35 male members and 7 female members and includes 1 member from the Morden Police Service and 1 member from the Rivers Police Service.

The ceremony takes place at 1:00 p.m. at the Winnipeg Convention Centre and is open to the public.

Meanwhile, the WPS is currently accepting applications for new recruits. The deadline to apply is December 4 at 3:30 p.m.
