Thousands in Donations, Toys Raised for Cheer Board

Winnipeggers are a generous bunch, and that proved true December 10, 11 and 12 during CHUM Radio’s 27th annual Christmas Miracle. The three-day event raised over $52,000 and 5,400 toys for the Christmas Cheer Board.
Despite the massive number of donations, the Cheer Board still needs your help. There’s a shortage of drivers to deliver hampers to families across the city. Deliveries started December 12 and organizers hope to have everything out by December 23.
If you can lend a few hours of your time, please call 989-5680.

Good event as I saw a lot of toys piled up.. I bet the kids would be happy to have these toys for Xmas and more… my hats off to the Cheer Board for doing this and CHUM Radio as well..
On another note, I did briefly meet CTV Winnipeg Caroline Barghout and Jordan Witzel.. they both were nice enough for a couple pics with me.. they both are wonderful for sure and I’m sure they did a good job in helping bring in these toys and the donations and more!! Hats to them along with other guests for that drive show…
