Steve Thompson Quits BOB FM
![]()

We’ve learned Steve Thompson has quit his position as midday personality at Winnipeg’s 99.9 BOB FM effective today.
Thompson used to be part of the morning show over there alongside Harry Callaghan and Troy Scott, before being let go and then hired back for the midday role.
No word on why Thompson suddenly quit, but all that 80′s, 90′s and more whatever music will get to you eventually.

I loved the Steve and Harry show…stopped listening when
Boring, Grouchy, and The Woman that won’t shut up took their spot.
He will be missed!

Thanks for the nice words gang. It’s very appreciated. I miss The Steve, Harry and Troy Show as much as anyone. While there are many reasons to flee BOB FM, I’m leaving for a great new job outside the province. I’ll forward the new station’s web info as soon as I can. See ya!

I couldn’t believe it when Steve said he was leaving! Seriously, he has the funniest laugh I have ever heard! I would laugh at him laughing lol. Bob FM is my favourite station but ever since Steve left, I haven’t been listening as much as I used to. It’s not the same to me anymore
