One of Two Teachers in Pep Rally Lap Dance Video Identified
One of the two teachers at the center of the pep rally lap dance controversy at Churchill High School has been identified.
According to the Globe and Mail, gym teacher Chrystie Fitchner, shown sitting in the chair above receiving a lap dance from a male teacher, is one of the parties involved in the controversy. In the video, the pair act out several lude acts, including the simulation of oral sex.
Both teachers have been suspended with pay while the incident gets worldwide attention.
Having been already picked up by Fox News and the New York Daily News, we spoke to a TMZ producer this morning who told us the video may appear on their show tonight.
We called Ms. Fitchner for comment, but haven’t heard back.
UPDATE: February 25 – A second video has appeared on YouTube showing the dance. This version is more clearer than the first.

Umm, the last time I saw this video, she was NOT alone. Perhaps the other person in the video has got his moves from a local strip club by the looks of it… maybe some strippers can come forward and identify him as a frequent patron? Man, he’s got some moves… where are his provocative pics? Oh yeah, right, it’s acceptable for men to behave this way and remain nameless!
Grow up! Although it was wrong that they BOTH conducted themselves inappropriately infront of students and staff, SHE didn’t do this act all by herself.

Yeah, perhaps you’re correct. But after studying it more, it is kind of hard to determine if the lady on the Churchill High website is the same as the Chrystie Fitchner Facebook picture. On the school’s website, the pic is small, and looks like she probably just ran around the gym a few laps.
Whereas on Facebook, for the most part, girls and young women do their best to look as sexy as they can. “Facebook girls” exhibit obvious attention-seeking behaviour, which is what brings them to Facebook in the first place. Further, having such a histrionic personality would most likely be why Chrystie Fitchner would’ve given her students such a show! Her inherent desire to make a spectacle of herself would certainly override any common sense she may have.

What a sad lack of judgment turned into a national (or international!) controversy. I bet those teachers are committed individuals to their school and classes. This lapse of judgment (and a serious one) is going to ruin their career.
The worst part is that I’m sure the students weren’t scarred at all by this. But really?! How can they keep their jobs after that? The school division has to let them go — and it’s really for a stupid decision by those teachers.
It’s sad all around.

Jeanie, sorry to say it, but that’s a complete load of melodrama.
Was it dignified? no. But I can’t believe you’d want to ruin a person’s life over it.
Taking away someones livelihood for briefly “being suggestive” of acts everyone naturally performs is beyond ludicrous.
BTW, you do realize most of these “kids” are either sexually active or would like to be, right?
I’m not in favor of a sheltered society, nor do I see the merit in feigned propriety.

You can’t defend that behaviour. They were obviously acting on some tension between them. I am sure their significant others are as impressed as the community is. Teaching is a profession, there is a code of conduct. These teachers signed a contract and should be aware of it. If you want to have a job, you just can’t do stuff like that. The lap dance probably would have got them in trouble, the simulated oral sex definetly ends the male teacher’s career in Canada. Teachers have been fired/reprimanded severely for much less, such as having Facebook photos depicting alcohol use found by students and shown to parents.

Really, anyone who makes sexual gestures at someone else is secretly lusting for them? It’s not impossible, but how old/mature can you be to leap to such a conclusion?
I’m not saying these people will keep their jobs; I’m saying they SHOULD be able to. Anyone old enough to understand the gestures they were making is old enough to not be “traumatized” by them. This wasn’t a classroom, it was a pep rally with everyone going crazy in a gym.
Do you call the police every time someone makes gun fingers too? probably.

How did this ever make the local, let alone national and international news??? It’s ridiculous. I think everyone agrees this was inappropriate, but not enough to ruin their lives. They got carried away in a dance-off, that’s it! Have them apologize to the students and move on.
We’ll all forget about this in a month, but this will never go away for these two teachers, who already get sh*t on enough. I think it’s sad, well done mainstream media, another life ruined.

This wouldn’t be appropriate in any other business (unless you work at Teaser’s), so why should it be acceptable at a high school? These teachers have shown extreme lack of judgement (esp. the male) and I make no excuses for them. Perhaps they aren’t cut out for the profession and all it entails.

Simple solution. Fire the Guy who did the lapdance and not the hot female. He was the one that performed the sexual lapdance. I doubt she was knew beforehand that he was going to act like he was eating her out. Sure she went along with it cause it was the spur of the moment. But in reality she really didn’t do anything wrong it wasn’t her doing the lap dance.
