Saturday’s Moose Game Encouraged to Be a ‘Black-Out’
Manitoba Moose hockey fans are being encouraged to wear black to the game on Saturday. Instead of the normal white, there needs to be a ‘black-out’ for a change, according to an e-mail from the Free Press.
The same goes for Game 2 on Tuesday at the MTS Centre.
So, dig into your closest and pull out some black or dark coloured clothing, or wear your dark Moose jersey for all remaining home games of the Calder Cup finals.
At last check, almost 12,000 tickets had been sold to Saturday’s game against the Hershey Bears (spit).
Support your local hockey franchise and buy a ticket to the game. Call 780-3333 or go online to Ticketmaster.ca.

So many jumping on the Moose bandwagon…
If they had been knocked out in the 1st round, everyone would still be talking about Bettman’s comments regarding Winnipeg being first in line for a future NHL team.

This is the most ridiculous idea I’ve ever heard! It will make the arena look empty, and will make it difficult for the goalies to track the puck in the air.
The “white out” isn’t a Jets tradition, it is a WINNIPEG tradition.
This is terribly disappointing.
