Forget About TV — Save Local Illiteracy
A Winnipeg-based CTV viewer has had enough with the endless spelling mistakes he sees on the news, so he has gone ahead and done something about it.
Save Local Illiteracy is a website that showcases the numerous errors CTV Winnipeg has previously made in their on air graphics. I’ll admit I laughed when I first saw it.
Just for the record, I didn’t create the website, but I wish I had.
Here’s my contribution from back in August: Is CTV Smarter Than a 5th Grader?

I think this is the funniest thing I have seen all day. But to be fair, when you lay off all your producers, writers, etc, it’s no wonder stuff like this happens. I don’t feel sorry for em though… CTV has a superiority complex and deserves to be taken down a peg.

Global aka CKND is worse IMHO, but I haven’t watched CTV news enough recently to say for sure.
