Season-Ending Slushfest to Close Saison Voyageur

Manitoba Homecoming 2010 Social in Vancouver (PHOTOS)

Manitoba Homecoming 2010 hosted a giant social Wednesday night in Vancouver at the Commodore Ballroom on Granville Street. Ex-pats, athletes, tourists, and Manitobans made their way to the party, which featured our own Doc Walker, Streetheart, Eagle & Hawk, Inward Eye and members of Chic Gamine.

This is Gonna Be a Good Year

You’ve been hearing snippets of the song in every TV commercial for Manitoba Homecoming 2010 for months now. We’re referring to “Good Year” by Winnipeg pop/rock duo Keith and Renée.

Top Manitoba Quilts on Display this Weekend

17 quilts made especially for Manitoba Homecoming 2010 will be showcased beginning today at the Manitoba Legislative Building.
Using the theme “Celebrating Manitoba,” quilters from all over the province got to work last January to create the fabric masterpieces.

Ain’t No Party Like an Outdoor Dance Party

Following Saturday’s Santa Claus Parade, Manitoba Homecoming 2010 threw an outdoor dance party at The Forks hosted by Hot 103’s Ace Burpee. The night wound down with a fireworks display shortly after. Fireworks, cute babies, hot chocolate and dancing. It was a good night in Winnipeg.

Neepawa to Host Manitoba Homecoming 2010

After receiving over 14,000 votes, Neepawa has been awarded the grand prize of hosting Manitoba’s official birthday on May 12, 2010.
