Police Headquarters Evacuated … Again

For the second time this week, the Public Safety Building at 151 Princess Street was evacuated.
Reports of an ammonia smell forced the evacuation shortly before 10:30 a.m. Friday when a hazardous materials call was reported.

Public Safety Building Evacuated, Officers Taken to Hospital

The Public Safety Building on Princess Street was evacuated early Wednesday afternoon after officers reported having breathing difficulties.
About half a dozen officers were taken to hospital, and several more were treated on scene.
