On February 13, local radio host Ron Able passed away after a short battle with pancreatic cancer.
His family held a private service on February 18, but there is now an opportunity for the public to take part in a celebration of Ron’s life.
On Friday, February 27 (Ron’s birthday), you can attend a formal celebration from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the Ambassador Room at the Canad Inns Polo Park. A reception with light refreshments will follow until approximately 10 p.m.
There will be a musical performance from the Prairie Voices Choir and guest speakers, including Caroline Hunter, John Sauder, Charles Adler and Sylvia Kuzyk and Troy Westwood.
