If your kids are becoming inactive and have been staying inside all winter, this club may be what they need. An after-school Snowshoe Club has been started for children 6 to 12 years of age.
Snowshoe Club will include basic snowshoe instruction, nature exploration and fun games. The best part? It’s completely free!
The program will operate on a drop-in basis beginning February 26 and snowshoes will be provided.
Bring your kids down to the Living Prairie Museum, 2795 Ness Avenue, every Thursday in February and March (or until there is no more snow) between 3:30 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. Parents are also welcome to participate.
Pick-up is between 5:15 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.
For more information or to register, call the Living Prairie Museum at 832-0167.
