Jennifer Jones and Team Canada did it again on Sunday, claiming the top spot at the Scotties Tournament of Hearts in Victoria, B.C.
The Winnipeg skip sealed the last game by two points in the seventh end as Canada earned an 8-5 win over B.C.’s Marla Mallett.
After a shaky couple of games earlier in the week, it’s nice to see Jones did what she does best — win!
Those fans wishing to welcome back the ladies from the St. Vital Curling Club in Winnipeg might need a caffeine fix to stay awake. The team arrives back at 11:37 p.m. on Monday — Air Canada flight 298.
