There’s a meeting taking place today among the Public Works Committee to discuss the possibility of changing the name of Garbage Day to Recycling Day.
The councillors behind the motion say that names can affect the behaviours of citizens. Therefore, in an attempt to keep things green and encourage recycling, a name change is in order.
Those at the meeting will then try to find out how much it would cost to make the name change.
