A new poll shows that Winnipeg women are the least satisfied in Canada in areas of health, body image, and overall self-satisfaction. Could it be the climate? It can be a real downer.
Toronto women have a greater level of personal satisfaction — from their love lives to their personal health — compared to women in nine other major Canadian cities. The women of Toronto scored top spot in the areas of personal health, body image, love life, and overall self-satisfaction. Women from Vancouver also ranked relatively well, scoring within the top three cities in five categories.
Calgary women ranked just above Winnipeg in the study for the same areas, but finished in last place in the areas of love life and overall satisfaction with their city — while also finishing in the bottom three in two other categories.
The poll, commissioned by Kellogg’s Special K Satisfaction, asked 2,100 women aged 25 to 64 in 10 cities between Nov. 25 and Dec. 1, 2008 to rank their level of satisfaction in seven different areas.
