The City initiated a truck plowing operation after midnight on main routes, bus routes and collector streets. Crews will continue plowing these streets throughout today and this evening. Front-end loaders are clearing intersections and bus stops. Plowing of back lanes will start on Thursday morning at 7:00 a.m. and continue daily until 7:00 p.m. until completed.

Ice control crews will continue salting main routes and sanding bus routes and collector streets, as required. City crews will continue to monitor street conditions and apply sand and salt to address traction concerns as required.

Pothole patching activities are currently suspended due to weather conditions and moisture on the roadway. Patching of potholes will resume when weather conditions permit. Pothole locations can be reported to the City of Winnipeg by telephone at 311; or by e-mail at [email protected].
