While in Brandon last weekend I received a tip that Britney Spears had been at a local Tim Hortons with her crew while on her way to Edmonton. Spears performed in Minneapolis on Friday night and then bussed it through the Wheat City in time for tonight’s show at Edmonton’s Rexall Place.
I got the tip a bit late and by that time she was already gone.
But according to Ace Burpee, the Spears clan also took in the Royal Manitoba Winter Fair and made a stop at the Humpty’s restaurant on the north hill. If you’ve ever been to Brandon, the restaurant is part of a Petro-Canada gas station and not the most pleasant place to eat.
With all the money Britney is paying K-Fed to look after her kids while on tour and the dough her father Jamie is receiving as part of the conservatorship deal, it’s surprising that the ‘Bank of Britney’ has money left over for a fair pass and food.
