MS Walk LogoThe annual Manitoba Lotteries MS Walk takes place on Sunday beginning at 10 a.m.

Walkers will gather at Grant Park High School and end up at Charles A. Barbour Arena, both located next to each other on Nathaniel Street.

Park and Ride locations will be available at several Home Depot locations to ease traffic congestion.

  • 1590 Regent Avenue West
  • 727 Empress Street
  • 1999 Bishop Grandin Blvd.
  • 845 Leila Avenue – Park in the Garden City Shopping Centre lot and walk across the street to catch the shuttle at Home Depot

This year’s walk is a bit different, as re-locating the walk to have an indoor start/finish line and by merging The Forks and St. Vital Walk, it will be the largest MS Walk in Canada.

Three other communities will also be hosting MS Walks on Sunday, including Lac du Bonnet, Portage la Prairie and Westman.
