The Flood Evacuation Reception Centre located at the Century Arena will be closing on Sunday, May 3. The centre assisted 724 people requiring emergency support services as a result of having to leave their homes due to flooding since April 15.

Beginning Monday, May 4, evacuees who still require emergency assistance can go to the River Heights Health and Social Services Centre, 677 Stafford Street at Pembina Highway (located next to Price Choppers). The office will be open Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Evacuees can call (204) 986-4000 for more information.
