Water meter readers will be out and about beginning Wednesday, May 6 to visit homes weekdays between 2:30 p.m. and dusk.
To help make sure you’re letting in an official meter reader, look for a specific uniform, including dark blue pants or shorts, and a light blue striped shirt with a City of Winnipeg Water and Waste logo over the pocket. All readers wear photo identification and carry a hand-held computer.
You should check identification before allowing a meter reader into your home.
