Winnipeg Free Press humour columnist Doug Speirs smiles for the camera as he volunteers his time to help out during McHappy Day this morning. You can stop by any McDonald’s location throughout Canada today and part of the proceeds help out local children’s charities.
This youngster — who was helped out by Variety, the Children’s Charity of Manitoba in the past — makes a McFlurry at the McDonald’s on Grant Avenue. He is also one of the faces behind Variety’s poster campaign this year.
Wheeler from Power 97’s “Wheeler and Hal” morning show also lent a hand by working the drive thru (background).
