If your long weekend plans include heading south, you’re in luck. Provincial highway officials said on Wednesday that Highway 75 from Winnipeg to the U.S. has been reopened.
The highway was closed on April 7 to make way for a dike that was built to secure the community of Morris. Work began earlier this week to remove the clay dike that covered the road.
Traffic is open to all four lanes, except at the Morris river bridge, which is temporarily down to one lane of traffic in each direction.
