Spring Carnival Begins Today at Canad Inns Stadium

2009 Spring CarnivalYou won’t have to wait for the football season to begin to have some fun down at the stadium.

The 2009 Spring Carnival begins today and runs until Monday, May 18. This year’s carnival will feature entertainment for the whole family including exciting rides, live entertainment, autograph sessions with Winnipeg Blue Bomber players, appearances by Bomber mascots Buzz and Boomer and the Labatt Blue Lightning Dance Team, and a Guitar Heroes competition on the Jumbotron in support of Child Find Manitoba. Sounds pretty good, huh?

Youngsters will be able to participate in a variety of activities including face painting, games and a petting zoo. The kids’ activities will take place Thursday and Friday from 6-8 p.m. and Saturday-Sunday from 12 noon-7 p.m. Monday is noon to 6pm.

Admission to the 2009 Spring Carnival is $6 per person for adults while children 12-and-under will be admitted for $3 each. Children under the age of two will be admitted free.

Carnival admission passes are available through Ticketmaster.

Thursday, May 14 (6 p.m. – 11 p.m.)
Friday, May 15 (6 p.m. – 11 p.m.)
Saturday, May 16 (Noon – 11 p.m.)
Sunday, May 17 (Noon – 11 p.m.)
