Forget the mile high club, this flight has a bit more class.
Air New Zealand is planning to send a flight of Americans from Los Angeles to Auckland on October 13 as part of the ‘Match Making Flight For Lonely Hearts’. The specially-themed flight will encourage those aboard to mix and mingle, pairing up based on compatibility tests taken online six months prior.
The round-trip ticket for the 13-hour flight is $780, which includes a pre-launch party at the Los Angeles airport where singles can enjoy food, drink, entertainment and games.
“If your dating profile says you enjoy fine wine and long walks on the beach, then New Zealand is your perfect place for romance,” the airline’s marketing manager, Steve Bayliss, told the New Zealand Herald.
Why do I think the lavatory will be “occupied” for most of the flight?
