Just like last year, Government House (est. 1883) will open its doors to the public for a Spring Levee. The Honourable John Harvard, 23rd Lieutenant Governor of Manitoba, will be on hand to welcome visitors to his residence on Saturday from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.
There will be entertainment, refreshments, and members of the Manitoba Living Society will be demonstrating life from a bygone era on the front lawn all weekend (weather permitting.)
Tours of the residence will be available both Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m to 5 p.m.
I went on the tour last year, but will probably attend again just for the complimentary refreshments.
