Emergency Medical Services week will wrap up with two last events taking place this weekend.
Emergency Services personnel will be on hand outside Canwest Park tonight for the Goldeyes’ second home game of the season. Emergency response equipment will be on display at the entrance to the ballpark before the game begins at 6 p.m.
On Sunday, the EMS Bike Ride for Diabetes Research takes place at Bird’s Hill Provincial Park. The public is invited to participate in the ride with proceeds going to the Children’s Fund for Glycogen Storage disease, a form of diabetes. The ride goes from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. Registration is available on-site.
