Five New Cases of H1N1 in Manitoba

Manitoba Health and Living confirmed five new cases of the H1N1 flu virus on Wednesday.

Among the cases is a male between the ages of 30 and 39 from Winnipeg. Officials say the man worked in the area of the Burntwood health region and has been hospitalized.

The second case is a female resident of the Winnipeg health region between the ages of 20 and 29. She has also been hospitalized.

Three other cases, one resident of the South Eastern Manitoba health region (a female between 40 and 49 years) and two Winnipeg residents (a female between 29 and 29 years and a female between 30 and 39 years) were not hospitalized.
