To symbolize their pure and utter hatred for the Hershey Bears (spit) — who defeated the Manitoba Moose on Saturday night — CURVE 94.3’s “The Show with Sarah and Jay” will be doing something special on Tuesday morning.
Beginning at 7 a.m., you can go down to their studios at 1445 Pembina Highway and watch a plush version of the Hershey Bears’ mascot get put into a wood chipper. You read that right. Listeners are also encouraged to bring down any of their own old bears they have laying around to also be made into mulch. It’s all in support of the Manitoba Moose Yearling Foundation.
This will not sit well with those who attended the Teddy Bears’ Picnic yesterday.
Game 2 of the Calder Cup final is Tuesday night.
