Three Winnipeg Companies Buck Economic Trend

Financial MarketsThree Winnipeg companies have experienced substantial growth in the last five years, according to the 21st annual PROFIT 100 Ranking. The report looks at Canada’s fastest growing companies and ranks them accordingly.

Oreck Canada (Axe Houghton Group Inc.) saw a growth in revenue of 1,577% from 2003 to 2008, Wellington West Holdings Inc. grew by 585%, and Broadview Networks Inc. saw an increase in revenue of 466% for the same time period.

Topping the ranking this year is Allegro Mobile Solutions, based in Mississauga, Ont. with a five-year growth of 8,741%.
