27 New Cases of H1N1 Flu Virus in Manitoba

An additional 27 cases of the H1N1 flu virus were reported in Manitoba on Wednesday. Manitoba Health says out of those cases, three people have been hospitalized. These new numbers bring the total of cases in the province up to 38 across six regions.

Thirteen of the newly confirmed cases were in males and 14 in females. The youngest patient with the virus is only one month old; the eldest is a 56-year-old.

Burntwood – 3
Nor-Man – 3
Parkland – 1
South Eastman – 1
