The 20th annual Sneakers in Motion Day takes place at the University of Manitoba today from noon to 1:00 p.m. To help encourage the university community to get in the habit of living a healthy and active lifestyle, participants will choose a short or long walk with the chance to go through an obstacle course.
Guest emcees Beau and Tom from 99.9 BOB FM will get everybody warmed up to kick things off.
Prizes will be awarded after the walk for in the Slickest Sneaker, Grooviest Headwear, and Bust-A-Move categories, among others.
If you’re in the mood for some physical activity today, head down to the south lawn of the Buller Building on the U of M’s Fort Garry campus at noon.
