Bothwell Cheese will open its first Winnipeg store at the James Richardson International Airport on Monday, June 15.
Located in the Village of New Bothwell, Manitoba, the company was started by a local group of dairy farmers in 1936 and has been a hit ever since. “We invite everyone — travellers, Winnipeggers, and airport staff alike — to drop by for a visit to try our cheese and see our new products,” said Bothwell Cheese President and CEO Ivan Balenovic.
On Wednesday, the media was invited to get a sneak peak at the new store.
Watch:
One unique feature of having the store at the airport are snack packs — small, convenient precut packages with 10 varieties of cheeses to take on your flight. There are also cooler gel packs under 100ml that will keep your cheese cool while on the plane.
Customers can also order cheese in-store using the available Internet kiosk, which will ship your order to anywhere within Canada.
Located on the second floor of the airport, you can get your cheese fix 7 days a week from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
