Forget everything you ever heard about a ‘black-out’ at a Manitoba Moose game. The Winnipeg Free Press has revisited their original idea of encouraging fans to wear black and is now pushing for a white-out at tonight’s game against the Hershey Bears. The Freep’s John White even referred to himself as a dumba$$ for suggesting the idea in the first place. At least he can take the heat.
Fans are also being asked to wear white on Sunday (if a Game 7 is necessary.) Both games are sold out, so wear white to your local watering hole when you watch the game on either Shaw (ch. 9) or MTS TV (ch. 50.) You can also watch the game tonight in the courtyard of Canwest Place on the 500-square-foot TV screen. Bring your own lawnchair.
Whatever you decide to wear, the Moose want those in attendance to be as loud as possible! Game time is 7:30 p.m.
