The City’s annual one day compost bin sale last Saturday was such a huge success, they have decided to extend it until June 30. Winnipeg residents can buy The Earth Machine compost bin, valued at $100.00 each, for the subsidized price of $30.00, and 208 litre rain barrels, valued at $120.00 each, for the reduced price of $50.00. Taxes are included in these prices.
There are several ways you can order a compost bin or rain barrel this time around. You can order and pay in advance with a major credit card by contacting Norseman Plastics at 1-800-894-8397, ext.824, or e-mail Paula at pdeandrade@norsemanplastics.com. You will receive a receipt either by mail or e-mail and must bring that receipt and pick up your purchase at the St. Vital Centennial Arena, 580 St. Anne’s Rd., on July 11 between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.
