Veteran CJOB broadcaster Larry Updike is leaving radio for a position with local charity Siloam Mission.
Updike will be the organization’s senior spokesperson effective September 1.
“People may wonder what on earth a successful, news-talk morning radio guy and former rock-jock is doing with his life. It is long past time for me to give back. My association with Siloam Mission has come at a perfect moment,” Updike said this morning in a news release.
With 33 years of radio experience, Updike is best known for hosting the CJOB Morning Show.
