Manitoba Child Dies from H1N1 Flu Virus

H1N1 Flu VirusManitoba Health is reporting the sad news that a child under the age of 18 has died as a result of the H1N1 flu virus. The child had underlying medical conditions and the case is still under investigation, the province said late Thursday afternoon in a news release.

This brings the total deaths in Manitoba to 3, as a result of the flu.

There are 458 confirmed cases of the virus in the province.
