Soup Pierre Closed and Seized?

July 3, 2009 7:30 AM | News

Winnipeg’s famed Soup Pierre establishment at 63 Goulet Street has apparently closed up shop. A note posted on the door in June said the restaurant was closed temporarily due to a family emergency, but it never reopened. A similar note was also displayed at the Portage Avenue location.

According to what’s shown in the video below, a sum of $6,311.13 was demanded from Central Collection Service on behalf of Royal Canadian Properties Limited. CCS told ChrisD.ca they cannot comment on specific claims and could not provide any further details.

Soup Pierre opened in the fall of 1998 and is locally owned by brothers Ron and Ray Chan.
