ParagliderSteinbach residents will want to look up into the skies later tonight. That’s where they’ll see Benjamin Jordan flying in on his paraglider.

Jordan is flying 10,000 km across Canada to raise money to send kids to camp and break the world distance record. All the money raised while in Manitoba will help the Sunshine Fund, which has been working to get kids to camp since 1979.

Adventure at Altitude will be hosting a fund raising event for “Above and Beyond Canada” at the “Adventure At Altitude” hanger beginning at 7 p.m.

Bring the family down to enjoy a BBQ, hot tub, music and a hanger dance party starting after the flying is done. There will also be door prize draws for a free flight.

A portion of hang glider and ultralight tandem flights that day ($20 each ) and $5 per tow will go to the cause. Don’t forget your swim trunks.
