Effective July 14, Shaw Communications will be moving around some channels to create a “better TV experience.” Just when you had them memorized, too!
The basic channels won’t be moved, but the specialty channels you probably pay extra for will.
Along with the changes, Shaw is dropping three channels altogether. Court TV, Discovery Kids and BBC Kids will no longer be offered to subscribers. An e-mail I received from a Shaw spokesperson late Tuesday night cited that viewer levels were not where they should be for the content offered on the three networks.
