The Winnipeg Parking Authority said back in March that they would be utilizing new technology to monitor how long motorists parked in timed zones. Now it looks like the technology is finally up and running.
This Parking Authority vehicle was spotted out and about on Friday afternoon with several cameras mounted on it. The cameras record licence plate numbers into a memory bank and then return to make sure you’re not still parked in the same location hours later.
