RCMPBrandon RCMP are investigating after 35 vehicles were vandalized in the RM of Cornwallis, 15 kilometers east of Brandon, between July 5 and 13.

The older model vehicles were being stored at a farm and received approximately $32,000 in damages.

The suspects allegedly broke into a shed and once inside, smashed the windshields of three convertible cars with a baseball bat. They then proceeded to make their way to the back of the shed, where 32 more vehicles were being stored. The investigation has revealed that a tool was also used to damage these vehicles, along with a cinder block.

In total, headlights, side mirrors and some dashboards were damaged, along with windshields.

Police are looking for a smaller pickup truck or car that fled the scene.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Brandon RCMP Detachment at 204-726-7522 or Manitoba Crime Stoppers.
