In case it slipped your mind, the 2nd Annual Monarch Butterfly Festival takes place Sunday at Living Prairie Museum.
Fun activities for the entire family are scheduled from noon to 4 p.m, including:
12:15 p.m. – Guided Prairie Hike
12:30 p.m. – Traditional butterfly teachings
1:00 p.m. – Butterfly gardening workshop with John Morgan. Learn how to create your own butterfly garden with local prairie planting expert John Morgan
2:00 p.m. – Guided Prairie Hike
3:00 p.m. – Butterfly gardening workshop for kids
3:15 p.m. – Butterfly release
Admission is free.
