The good people of Dauphin, Manitoba will soon host TSN’s flagship “SportsCentre” program for a live broadcast from their city.
TSN, in conjunction with Kraft, held a contest for Canadians to have TSN in their town for a day. The sportscaster will be travelling to nine other winning communities in the span of 10 days.
Not only does Dauphin receive the sportscast, they will also get $25,000 to go towards completing new playing fields at the Vermillion Park Sportsplex.
Anchors Darren Dutchyshen and Jennifer Hedger will host the special edition of “SportsCentre” on Friday, August 28.
The first live on location broadcast will take place on August 22 in Kaslo, B.C. and continue until September 1, which is TSN’s 25th anniversary.
