44th Annual Dauphin Ukrainian Festival

July 31, 2009 6:55 AM | Entertainment

Ukrainian EggYou can almost smell the perogies cooking already. It’s time for the 44th annual Dauphin Ukrainian Festival, which gets underway today until Sunday.

The three-day event will without a doubt feature some of the best food you’ve ever tasted, as well as cultural displays and entertainment. I’ll personally be up in the Riding Mountain area this weekend, so attending the Ukrainian Festival is a possibility on my list of things to do.

Ukrainian pop singer Ruslana will be the headlining act on Sunday night — which is expected to draw crowds of up to 15,000 people.

Admission prices range from $25.00 to $75.00 and can be purchased at the gate.
