July 31, 2009 9:15 AM | News

Hal AndersonAfter 14 years at Power 97, morning man Hal Anderson will be leaving the rock station and moving upstairs. As Program Director Matt Cundill jokingly said Friday morning, just getting upstairs period is a big enough challenge for Hal.

Hal will be the new morning host at CJOB, when Larry Updike leaves to take on a role at Siloam Mission.

His first show at the Superstation will be on Monday, September 7. No new replacement has been officially named yet to co-host alongside Dave Wheeler. The last “Wheeler and Hal” show will air Friday, September 4.

Best of luck over there, Hal!
