Who said skateboarding wasn’t for girls? The Skateboard Coalition of Manitoba, along with Montreal-based girl skate crew Rugged Riders, are holding this year’s all-girls skateboard competition.
Chicks Flip Out takes place at the Plaza Skatepark at The Forks on Saturday.
Besides the intense competition, those new to the sport will also have the opportunity to learn how to skateboard for the first time beginning at 11 a.m.
